Play mats and play rugs

Foam puzzle mat, soft play mat or play rug?

Start with how you want to use the mat. Would you like to build a play area from individual tiles, put down a soft mat with a fabric cover, or store toys on the same rug after playtime? This collection includes different options. Compare the construction, available sizes and care instructions as well as the design.

Foam play mats with puzzle tiles

EEVEVE play mats are made from 1.2 cm thick EVA foam. The tiles fit together to form a play area finished with edge pieces. Depending on the design, Lomamo offers sizes including 120 × 180, 180 × 240 and 180 × 360 cm. Some designs are also available in 240 × 360 cm. Check the size options on the individual product page.

Play&Go EEVAA is another puzzle mat range, with reversible tiles and different prints. Check the dimensions, included pieces and instructions for the exact model you choose; the sets are not all identical.

Soft play mats with fabric covers

MeowBaby mats have a polyurethane foam core and covers from ranges including Velvet, Aesthetic and Bearly. The square models measure 120 × 120 cm and the cloud-shaped models measure 160 × 160 cm. These models are 5 cm thick and have a foldable construction. The round Velvet mat has a diameter of 100 cm, a ruffle of approximately 5 cm and a thickness of 3 cm.

A play rug and toy storage bag in one

Play&Go Vichy rugs are round and measure 140 cm in diameter. Pulling the drawstring around the edge closes the rug into a toy storage bag. This serves a different purpose from a thick foam play mat. Check the age guidance and instructions for your selected model.

Individual mats for a play area

The IGLU Gym Mats set contains five individual mats. See the product page for available colours and information about the set. If you plan to combine a mat with play equipment, check the equipment’s placement and surface instructions too.

Size, storage and cleaning

Measure your available floor space and leave walking routes clear. EEVEVE puzzle mats come apart for storage; square and cloud-shaped MeowBaby mats fold; Vichy rugs close with a drawstring. These are different ways of putting a mat away, so not every model should be described as a foldable mat.

Care instructions vary by material. A wipe-clean foam surface and a fabric cover need different treatment. Follow the instructions for the exact product, including any age guidance and supervision requirements. There is no single age recommendation for this entire collection.
